1)    A musical mobile for the cot - I was given this as a gift when my first was born and ended up getting so much use out of it for both girls, it really helped sooth them in their cot meaning more sleep for me…I’m all about that sleep. It plays relaxing music and slowly spins the little animals around; this one also has a built-in night light!

2) Sheep soother - My youngest is OBSESSED with this sheep, it plays different sounds but is cuddly and has little ears that she will sit and stroke until she falls asleep. The best part is that it has a setting so that anytime it hears a noise, like crying, it will instantly turn on the white noise sounds…I would recommend this to anyone as it has helped her so much to self sooth rather than me having to go in to see her, once it kicks in, she tends to drift back off to sleep.

3)    Baby Gym – This is the exact one I had, it really did keep them entertained with so much to look at and listen to. This one plays music and sounds and has detachable toys and a mirror so that it can always appear different. It isn’t the easiest to store away in all honestly, the mat does fold up its just the tower that can be quite stiff to fold, but I ended up keeping mine out all the time in the end anyways.

4) Baby Plat Mat - I can’t find the exact one I had but this is similar and it’s great for having a space for your baby to do tummy time or roll around on a soft surface. It has lots for baby to look at and touch so creates a safe environment for them to play.

5) Personalised dressing gown – Too cute and actually so practical to chuck on at home on those colder days/nights. Plus, it just looks so damn cute especially ones with little animal ears built into the hood, ive got so many pictures of the girls in theres when they were babies!

6)    Personalised books – I’m all about gifts that you can keep forever and look back on so anything personal is always a winner for me. I always thought it was such a thoughtful gift to have something personalised but its actually such a quick and easy gift to order and will really make someone feel special

7)    Sensory flash cards – These are great for keeping a baby stimulated and entertained, I would just go through the cards saying out loud what the picture is and letting them take in the pictures.

8)    Baby book – Another great one for sentimental value, a place to store all the info you may well forget years later! You can also store photos, moments liek the first word etc. You could also get the design personalised.

9)    Sleeping bag – This is more of a practical one but something you know you will get so much use out of; I’ve tried my fair share of sleeping bags and I just don’t think you can beat the quality of this one. The ones I’ve had have lasted me years now, I use my eldest’s old ones with Leni now 3 year later!

10) Personalised wooden box – Someone got similar for my eldest when she was born, and we now use it to store all her old birthday cards (Yes, I am that hoarder parent that keeps everything!) It’s just a cute little box for them to carry around and keep memories in, you can also get it personalised

11) Rockit Baby Rocker – This is such a clever invention, it basically rocks your buggy so you don’t have to helping your little ones drift off to sleep whilst you can have two hands to actually finish that coffee because let’s face it, caffeine is life right now!

12) Soft rattle and shaker set – All babies love to use a shaker but I always found they would end up whacking themselves in the face with it so I love these soft versions that can easily be gripped.

13) Tie on sensory strip – These are great for tying into your buggy or inside your crib (Do not leave these in overnight, must be used under supervision only). They are a similar concept to the sensory cards in that it stimulates babies’ brains and gives them something to look at. I got so much use out of our one!

I really hope this has been helpful and dont forget to leave your ideas in the comments. Wishing you and your bundles of joy a holly-jolly Christmas filled with giggles, cuddles, and festive magic! 🎄💕
